The Downtown District is excited to launch the first-ever Downtown District Holiday Spectacular, a five-week experience that packages and promotes downtown holiday destinations, events, shows and shopping!

Highlights include the amazing line-up of shows at the Theater District, the new holiday décor located at Main Street Square, new shopping venues like the Houston Pavilions and last but not least, The Ice at Discovery Green, downtown's outdoor ice skating rink.

Two Holiday Trolleys will connect all of the festive happenings in downtown into one perfect holiday package, making it simple for visitors to park once and experience multiple downtown destinations during their visit. The trolleys are FREE and will run Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday beginning Thanksgiving weekend through December.

The schedule is as follows:

Fridays 6:30 pm-11:30 pm (11 am-11:30 pm the Friday after Thanksgiving)
Saturdays 11 am-11:30 pm
Sundays 11 am-7:30 pm
