Houstonians are car people, and if you're driving downtown, here's some information about where you can park it while you stroll about:

Surface parking lots are available throughout downtown. Rates range in price from $5.00 to $20.00 (usually higher on event nights).

Valet parking is also available at selected entertainment venues.  Call the establishment to get further details.

And don't forget, on-street meter parking is FREE after 6 pm, Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday. Be sure to always double check though and read the parking signs!!
