In addition to one-of-a-kinds, franchise and chain retailers such as Sambuca, Flying Saucer Draught Emporium and Cafe Express are also a perfect fit and tremendously successful. Downtown is a also a draw for destination retailers with heavy hitters House of Blues, Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge, Books-A-Million, BCBGMaxAzaria and XXI Forever that have recently opened at downtown's new Houston Pavilions.
There are a variety of "types" of spaces available downtown, from restaurant-ready to shell spaces. Some are located along Main Street and others in the skyline district.
